dell 2209wa question about color

Does anyone notice the brightness in this blue or am i the only one seeing this on the 2209wa?

In it the blue looks kinda overly bright so it isn't very clear to me.

well certain white are stronger than others, like the impact font.

Is there a way to reduce this strength?
 
What I mean is, if blue was perceptually more intense than red and green, white would to some extent have a blue hue. In that case you should use the OSD to reduce that color. On my 2209WA both green and red appear too strongly, which I corrected somewhat by changing the OSD values to R95G95B100.

You should also set the brightness to zero as well, indeed, zero is still somewhat uncomfortable in my dark room. It should improve as the unit ages and the backlight wears.
 
my brightness is at 5. The two most intense colors at green and red? what would i need to dial down on my osd to get the blue and green down?
