Dell 2209WA is available... sorta

[variant]

It isn't officially listed, but when I searched for the model number, it recommended me it.

There are no specs up on the website. So assuming it isn't something that is simply mislabeled, that appears to be the new monitor.

Bump.

Anyone in Canada or Australia get one of these yet?

[Ankle]

Apparently it might be an IPS panel: http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/news_archive/16.htm#dell_2209wa_2

On another forum they said that the e-IPS panel gives up some wide color gamut for faster response times.

It's out now.

It is indeed available in the U.S. Check out the Tech Specs tab on the product page. Interesting that they have removed the "Panel Type:" spec.

The mystery continues. $299 US seems like a really good deal. Too good???
