I bought a 2007wfp back in November and I checked the service menu because of the lottery issues and everything seemed normal ie 0 hours for the hour counter etc. Today I checked the service menu and it says its been used for 2400 hours and there is no way I used the monitor for 2400 hours. I just use that monitor on weekends other wise it's powered off. Is there like a bug in the counter or what's the deal?

24 hours x 100 days. hmm... that doesn't seem to add up if you had the monitor off. mine has like 12 thousand hours on it so i wouldn't feel so bad if i were you.

maybe the tooth fairy uses it while you're at work?

If it has had power to the logic board, it probably counts as on. Try unplugging it for a day and see if it still adds time.

I'm pretty sure 'standby' still counts as power on time as far as the counter is concerned, so that 2400 hours probably includes standby time too.

Mine says it has been on for 7092 hours (295.5 days) and 55 minutes, but I ordered it back in August of 2006... So, it has been on for approximately 3 more months than it has existed.

Can anyone check theirs and confirm?

Deng, does anyone know what's up with my monitor? I'm pretty curious why it's so weirded out.

Was it brand new?

My 2407WFP A04 was at zero when I got mine, although it counts time even when its switched off but connected to the mains.
