Dell 2007WFP viewing angles.

[Jim Gravina]

If the Dell 2007WFP has such a good S-IPS panel...then why are the viewing angles advertised as +/- 89° (vertical) typ, +/- 89° (horizontal) typ.

I had thought those panels have angles of about 178 degrees. What am i missing?

This is taken straight from Dells website. http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/monitors/2007WFP/en/about.htm

Absolutely nothing... are you no good at math?

It goes from -89 (left) to +89 (right) on horizontal, which is 178 degrees in total. The same goes for up and down.
