Dell 2007WFP pricing out!

I dont see the 2007 having HDCP support, where did you read that? It wasnt on the dell 2007 WFP page. Thats weird, the 2007WFP is cheaper than the 2007FP :p

So if that's true, you're going to need one of Dell's infamous 25% off coupons to bring it down to a very respectable $397 as the 2005 was/is. It could happen, but when???

Haven't seen any coupons for the 3007 yet. Hopefully they'll come out sooner for the 2007.

You don't seem to believe anyone about HDCP. :p

I've come to the conclusion that HDCP is way over-hyped. No graphic card, Vista delayed, format wars still raging, drives delayed until the end of the year (and expensive), Sony and Universal and others saying they aren't going to down-res for awhile... etc etc.

Check back in 3 years and it may be important then. But by then you'll be drooling over the next display technology.

If the display you want has it, great. But I wouldn't limit your choices based on HDCP. Meh, 2 cents.
 
There seems to be a price drop for the Dell 2007.
Now it's at $899 (a S$100 price difference, comes with a free soundbar).

Dang.. the options are getting tempting. This, or the Viewsonic 2025 (which costs S$799)?
