Dell 2007WFP on analog

How does it look on analog? I'd be using it with my laptop which only has analog out.
 
When you say analog I assume you mean the VGA connection....I use the VGA on my Dell for Xbox 360 and it looks great.
 
Cool, I'm thinking about the Dell2007WFP for my xbox 360. I would be connecting it via VGA... having noticed any issues playing your 360. Ghosting? lag? banding?.. Also does the monitor have aspect ratio control...

Got any pics...
 
It looks great on VGA. I am now using it in DVI, but I was using it VGA the past few days and it was a huge step up from my AL 1912 (acer TN panel). The only drawback is I can hardly tolerate the acer now after experiencing the Ultrasharp quality!
 
Nice, what looks better the 360 with DVI or VGA... kind of the same i guess. Can you post some pics???
 
I don't have an Xbox (360). "It" was referring to the monitor. Sorry for the confusion.
 
I'm using dual monitors on a card with a DVI out and VGA out and honestly, the quality on both look great on it! Especially if its S-IPS, it just looks amazing!

The monitor does have 1:1 pixel mapping but honestly I just use the highest widescreen res (1366x768 iirc) without changing the aspect and it looks fine to me.

Nice, do you notice any stretching... circles may look like ovals... got any pics of the 2007and 360 in action?
 
It also has an "Aspect Ratio" setting, which inflates the image to the largest size possible while retaining the correct aspect ratio. Awesome for games that only run in 4:3 (although of course you do lose some sharpness from the scaling). My 2007WFP has only the tiniest hint of bleed in the lower left corner so its quite comfortable to have black bars on screen.
 
My 2007wfp looks like garbage via VGA out with my PC. 360 + VGA isn't so bad though, I don't notice the same glaring ghosting that I do with my PC. I have to use the DVI in for my ps3 :( so I'm stuck with a VGA + PC display that gives me a headache.

Maybe something's wrong with mine??
