Im sorta new to this, never hooked up a console to a LCD before

I've read that people are connecting their Xbox360's to their monitors through VGA but how?
I don't see any VGA input on the back if the Xbox360, or do you put it throuhg the back of your gfx card? I don't quite understand how to get this to work, so can some one please explain step by step?

I've tried with this HDTV adapter that came with my X1900XT but no luck maybe I just missed somthing but I really would appretiate it if some one could walk me through this

If you want to connect via VGA you will need to buy the Xbox 360 AV VGA cable.

Nope thats it, the cable connects from the back of the 360 to the VGA port on your monitor.

Let us know how it turns out. Ive just ordered a 2007wfp for my pc and 360.

so what about the audio inputs? I have a Creative Lab 6.1 Surround Sound for my comp, is there anyway I can use that?

or where would I put the two Audio cables in?

Not sure about best buy, but you can get one at radioshack for like 5 bucks or so. Just be sure to get a stereo adapter, otherwise you'll only get mono sound. Then plug the adapter into the blue port on your soundcard and the red/white sound cables from the 360 into the adapter.

This is what you need.

Yeah mine came with that too - also the VGA cable has the optical audio output port if that is of any use to you...

ok well I got it all hooked up, I tried BF2 modern combat and it looks like there is no
Anti Aliasing, thers a bunch of jaggy lines is that normal? also my res is at 1280x768 I tried 1280x1024 and BF2 looks like pure shit....is there any settings that I missed? or is that normal, also is there a way to unlock 1080?

Its seeming more and more normal as I try different games, if they haven't incorporated an AA in them then they will like jaggy as hell on a TFT, whereas on a TV you don't see them due to the blurring.

I tried Ghost recon and it was pretty sweet looked great and dead rising looked good too its just BF2 that had it bad for some reason....oh well glasd i didnt buy it. Ill stick to the PC version
