Dell 2005 FPW problem

My Dell 2005 FPW seems to be flickering quite often. But after I unplug the main power for couple secs. it stops flickering but after couple mins. it starts flickering again. Help?

ok, first i'd like to thank you for making this thread right after i just ordered my 2005. really, thanks.

i would send it back personally.
 
Probably a backlight or inverter going bad, send it back.
 
what exactly happens when inverters go bad?


PS: I hear some strange buzzing noise in the back of the moniter too!
