dell 2001fp + xbox high def. pack.. how does it work?

i'm assuming the display forum would be a good place for this post.. since its about my 2001fp.. anyway..

i just recently got my 2001fp and was thinking about getting an xbox high definition pack to play my games on my monitor.. has anyone done this.. and if so.. how well deos it work? do the games look very good at a higher res? or is it even worth messing around with.. thanks
 
Don't think it works, since the XBox HD pack outputs using component cables, while the 2001FP only has a composite and S-Video input.
 
Get an x2vga or similar device. I think there is actually a thread in the games forum with pics of the 2001fp using an xbox vga adapter. The 2001fp can do 720p, but it won't be native res...

where do i get one of these? how much are they? and is anyone familiar with how good of quality it is since its not native resolution?
