A girlfriend of a friend of mine works for Dell and has just ordered me two Dell 2001FPs. I was supposed to give her a call today to discuss whehter or not I should go for 3 years warranty. Unfortunatly I forgot and now the order has been placed.

Is it possible to extend the warranty later on? Would you recommend 3 years warranty on these cuties?

As you might see in the link, theres a seperate option to purchase the LCD with 3 years warranty.

Edit: For those that are interested, 1$ is roughly 7 nkr !!!
 
interesting...every review I've seen shows it with a 3 year limited warranty standard.
