Looks just great, even bigger than I was expecting.
Manufactured January 2004 and I have one dead pixel and one which seems to be stuck inbetween blue and white.
A shame that the dead pixel is in the middle of the screen but what can you do?

Anyone got more dead/stuck than me and is living with it?

you paid the full 1k for it? im gonna wait for the next sale, when it drops to $750. that monitor is so awesome, hope you have fun with yours, cant get wait to get mine in a month or so.

Well contrary to popular belief but there are other countries apart from the USA :)

I paid 920€ which is about $1155
I got it cheap though because it's normal Finland price is 1378€ (1731$)

So I suppose you could say I paid the full 1k for it :D

Edited to correct some incredible spelling mistakes :D

 ouchies...but hey if you like it then thats its worth it

on topic sort of...my 1800fp has 2 dead pixels and im living with it cause they're no where near the center

Hehe well I am taking a leaf out of Eenyceexdanny's book and I have called for a replacement.
My dead pixel is right in the centre, and the stuck one is 1cm away from it.
I called to Dell and the guy was very co-operative and said they will ship me a replacement. It takes about a week so let's see then.

In the meantime I will use this great panel at home.

Just to make clear that if I had paid 750$ (600€) I probably wouldn't complain. But the price this thing costs in Europe I believe I have every right to an exchange.

Who cares how much you paid, if the pixel annoys you ship it back. Dell is very good about that.

Mine's great except for an unnoticeable subpixel. I paid $750 US and if it were annoying, I'd be ship happy.

Anyone know any good places to get it in the UK? DellUSA is about $400 cheaper than DellUK :(

There is a guy on ebay who is based in Scotland.
He has very good feedback and responds quickly to mails etc.
I would have bought from him but we disagreed over the shipping costs.

Seems to be selling them for about 900€

Maybe worth a look?

I pais £620 for mine off ebay as Dell are incapable of getting one to me, and after a month they still couldnt tell me an eta so ebay it was.

Has no backlight issues
and 2 stuck pixels on the left
1 i only notice when lookign witha green screen
and the other is a little more noticeable if u look foir it

but i havewnt noticed it in nearly 2 weeks
so might have to go see if its gone :D

I just got my replacement for my FP2001. I didn't even have to call anyone. I just sent an email to the address on the invoice. Got a reply about the replacement pretty fast, and then the replacement pretty fast too. Only thing they messed up is not including the return shipping sticker, but I emailed them on that.

The replacement is better. I can't really notice any flaws--the backlighting--like on the first one. As long as they get me that return sticker promptly, I gotta give them a thumbs up all the way.

I also got one in Finland for 930 EUR, ordered it on 20th January and got it a few days ago. The panel is manufactured January 2004 and has one stuck green pixel near center of the screen. It's mostly visible against dark background and yes, it's somewhat disturbing, but I'm not going to exchange it and risk getting a worse unit. There are no problems with backlight.
