Hello, I just got a 2001 FP and a x800XL. I plugged in the monitor to the gfx card using the dvi cable. However, the monitor does not detect the cable as it displays the test screen for the analog connector. Do I need to enable DVI in catalyst or something? Or maybe it is my graphics card that is malfunctioning? Or could it be the cable? Any help would be appreciated . Thanks
 
As you look at the front panel, there is a silver button with two lights on either side of it. Press it to move to the second button, this is the DVI setting.
