dell 2001fp compensation for troubles?

I am just curious for those that had problems with the monitor and compained to dell - how did they compensate you?

If they offered discount, by how much?

My original price was $750 then I compained so they minused $50 bucks plus a $50 item of my choosing. No bad pixels now!

They are more responsive to emails if you can be patient, their phone support will piss off a saint. :D if your in a hurry.
 
they gave me a $100 credit on my credit card.

my final 2001FP's price was $701.
