Hi,

I have a GA-8IPXDR-E motherboard (socket 604) but i'm using some 1.7GHz socket 603 Xeons (100mhz FSB). Now these should be 100x17 but seeing as i'm using them in a 604 board they are being used at 133x8. As there any way I can force the corrtec multiplier with a pin mod? I'm aware of the FSB pin mod but I really need to get the right multiplier. The BIOS sucks on this board, so no options for FSB or multiplier in there.

Thanks!
John

i doubt there is a pin mod for it
but you could try running something like RMClock that has Xeon SpeedStep Support so it might let you change ur multi via windows instead of thru bios you should know that you need to get either an Asus PC-DL or NCCH-DL for best use but i dont think your cpu's would run on them as they only support 1.6v vcore max
