Sorry no, this will not be allowed. This is important to running a board in which folks are held accountable for their actions.
 
I have a thread on the For Sale / Trade forum that I want to delete, can I PM a mod or something?
 
Mods or Admin will delete, close or move threads from public view upon request according to the nature of the request :)

You should have the ability to edit the thread content for FSFT reasons.
 
you can always request a fs/ft mod to edit a title, close a thread etc, do not ask us to delete, as even we will not delete the threads, as said above, we will move them out of public view upon request if there is a good reason.
supermods, admins can also perform the above actions, but it is best to contact a fs/ft mod first.
