I tried posting this in the PSU forum but figured someone here might have more experience with establishing a set-up along these lines.
I'm trying to figure out a way to run two PSUs on my watercooling rig, I'd like to have both start up with a single power-on switch but here's the kicker - I'd like one to start 5 seconds before the other.
Basically, the "secondary" PSU will be connected to the watercooling loops (controllers, fans, and non-system devices). The "primary" will be dedicated to the system.
Since I'm overclocking, I'd like the water to start flowing before the CPU and GPU wake-up.
Someone on the PSU forum suggested building something using a capacitor or 555 timer relay but I'd rather find a ready-made solution. It seems like this should be something someone else has thought of in the past... any suggestions?
I've seen relays that keep a HSU fan turning after power-down, is there anything along those lines but in reverse?
