I'm sure this has been searched a million times, but apparently the search button is on hiatus.

I only added a little of the freaking water wetter, but it sure as hell foamed up like crazy. The thing that pisses me off is that this isn't the first time it's happened. I used an entire gallon of demineralized water, and only added a little water wetter. It is still foaming like mad.

I really, REALLY want to avoid draining the system. Is there any kind of defoaming agent I can drop in there?

How many cc did you add to your loop? Wait a few days and see if the foaming stops. If it doesn't then flush the loop with about 5 gallons of distilled water before repriming the system.

I

what he said, used it ONCE and would never put that crap in my loop again.

Actually, it's the Purple Ice stuff. I was wrong. I assume it's probably the same composition as Water Wetter. I've used Engine Ice in the past, with good results, but I couldn't find any locally. I've also used Silkolene, but I couldn't find that either.

What should I use then? I guess I'm gonna have to deal with the fact this computer won't be up and running again anytime soon....

Just a few drops of PT Nuke (Biocide) from petrastechshop should do it. On one of my loops, I added an Alphacool red UV dye and it also foamed like mad. After about 2 days, however, the foam seems to go away.

Are you saying the PT Nuke will get rid of the foam, or that it's all that should be added to the water?

I really did not put much of the Royal Purple in the distilled water. I took a gallon of it, dumped a little out, and put approximately 1/8-1/4 cup in the jug. It was just enough to tint it purple.

I did fire up the pump this morning and noted it was a little less foamy....
