Just bought a 720 pump/res and it sounds like this:

i have contacted XPSC about it and they just reply:

"There is a very little noise from the pump. And I can hear something is knocking the door / wood.

I think it is normal. Pls let me know if it gets more louder in time using."

 WTF.

what should i do?

It's probably got some bubbles stuck in it. Let it go for now like they say and if it doesn't get better, then ask them about a replacement.

Ha, kind of sad that they mention the wood knocking. It's like they think that you are so dumb that you thought someone knocking on a door was the pump. It's definitely a pump noise. It does sound sort of like air in the pump.

i have filled the champer and tilted the pump so there i is no air in it :(

i has been running for 3 weeks like this :/

can you disassemble the pump/reservoir to take a look inside?

If it's pump cavitation, the problem would be in the installation not the pump itself...
