I just built a sff usiing a Zotac Nforce 630I ITX a mini itx board with geforce 7100 igp sharing 256 of system memory, The system is stable only if i put in less than 2 gigs of ram. If I put in 2 1 gig dimms Prime 95 crashes 3dmark crashes almost immediately. With either 2 512 dimms, a single 1 gig dimm or 1 gig plus a 512 there is no problem. I ran speedfan, 3dmark01 6 loops and Prime 95 25.7 torture test simultaneously with no crash.
Specs are: Celeron E1200 DC, psu 400 watt Athenatech sfx (I had no different result with the stock 200 watt that came with case). Seagate 500gb SATA 3.0, Asus PATA dvd burner. Win XP PRO SP3 latest NVIDIA drivers. Hell I can even run BIOSHOCK at 15 to 20 FPS. My feeling is that is may be a flaw in the bios or windows drivers, Opinions wanted. I tried MEMTEST X86 no errors even with 2 GIGS ram. I am thinking if the board was flawed wouldn't it crash regardless of amount of ram? I am pondering whether to rma or not.
