Most of the blue leds I have found have been pretty light blue in person, does anyone know of a place that stocks deep blue leds?

Or even better, how to mod a light blue led or white led to get consistant deep blue colors?

I have 2 300mcd deep blue LED's. I used them on my front panel a while back until I switched out for some 8000mcd ones.

Got em at Radio Shack for $3.59 apiece (fucking ripoff).

If you want em' I'll send em to you via USPS for a nominal fee of Heatware feedback. :D

They still work, but are getting no use right now. If you want em' I'll give em to ya.

I have had mixed experience with giving things away free on PC forums. So be careful if you expect to receive even the courtesy of acknowledgement of receipt for something you paid postage on.
 
I'll pay postage dude, and I don't care what happens after that.

$.37 (or whatever postage is now) I get rid of stuff I don't need any longer. Plus, it goes to a good cause. Hopefully he recieves them. Hopefully he posts some Heat when he gets them. I don't need em, might as well send em.
 
Look for LED with the shortest wavelength.

460nm will be deeper blue than 470nm etc ...
