Years ago, sometime between 2004-2006, I purchased a DecK Legend Toxic. Since then it has been an amazing keyboard; Built like a tank and in flawless condition since day 1 with no signs of wear besides slightly shinier surfaces on the most highly used keys.

However, about 2 years ago one of the rubber feet came loose, shortly followed by the other one. This would be about the only weakness on the board that I have found to date. Anyway, after going on for about 2 years of playing Find-the-lost-keyboard foot and then sticking it back on every time I moved the thing, I finally actually lost one (Never could find a glue that would sufficiently restick them).

Even though the keyboard was way past it's 1 year warranty, I decided to email Customer support for Deck and within a day got a response from a tech named Adam. I explained that I had purchased a keyboard from them more than 5 years ago, and that I lost a foot. No questions asked, he promptly sent out a new set of feet + adhesive pads! Working great so far, nice to have a fully adhered set on the Deck again.

While I guess it was a relatively small act, I felt the need to post about it because you don't often see a company support it's product that many years after a purchase, especially with no questions asked/proof required.

A+ for DecK!

tl;dr: DecK support sent me replacement keyboard feet, no charge, for a 5+ year old keyboard without proof of purchase.

I keep debating on whether to go fro a Deck or a SteelSeries keyboard once my G15v1 dies. This may just tip me over to a Deck because that's outstanding.

Well you certainly did pay for it, so I do guess you get what you pay for. :p

Decks a better keyboard at $170 but Razer is a better marketing company at $130 (before discounting).

Guess who is going to win in the marketplace. But yah, not a lot of companies like this left.

Unicomp is another - $70 gets you a IBM Model M buckling spring keyboard updated for 2010 users - Windows key for Win7 useful docking (Win-Arrow Key to dock windows to L/R! and minimize/maximize!). USB for modern connectivity. Those Unicomp guys give great customer support and are one of the few USA companies left in this business.
