Which is the most stable, best board available? Abit IS7-E/Abit IS7-E2 or Asus P4P800 non deluxe? stability and quality are key, ocing is a factor. Thanks for any help.
 
ive narrowed it down to these 3 boards and im looking for intelligent opinions on them. I have done many a day of research.
 
i have concluded that the P4S800d-e dlx is a piece of SHIT. the damn thing has so many anomalies that i just cant take it. Its a good fast board, but because its so new, it just needs more stability before its ready for me.
 
what "anomalies" do you mean?

And POS... it is not.

EDIT: ABIt boards seem good, but also have some very wierd anomalies, especially it seems with DIMM installation.
 
I just got my second defective ABit IS7-E in a row... I dunno, seems like a great board, if it would just work
 
its really the sata i dont like. it dosent have native sata, so i cant use any floppy based progs for the hdd, which i use often. I have been having serious problems booting, where the system starts up into a blue screen, or a blank screen. I have done 8 reformats in the past 5 days. Not fun...The intel boards are just about as fast, with better support(more owners), native sata, and seemingly better reliability. I used to love my SiS 645DX based P4s533 board, excellent equiptment, but its game over for the P4S800d-e deluxe
