Deciphering my BSOD

I got a BSOD yesterday after trying to install drivers for my new soundcard. I think I might had installed the wrong ones.

Anywho I'm not familiar with looking up bluescreen codes and was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. Ill post it for the sake of it.

It was definitely from this sound card driver.

I got the ASUS Xonar DG and i went to the website for the driver. I guess it didnt take cause the installation took f***ing forever and it stopped right at the end of the progress bar. I went out for a bit and came home to a restared computer and a BSOD error message.

I then installed the drivers from the CD and wham it worked flawlessly.

That information is pretty useless. If you want any practical information, you'll need to post a memory dump that the machine created when it blue screened. WIth that, you can get much, much more information.

While you may be certain it was caused during the installed of the driver, it may be conflicting with something else on your system (that may be what caused the BSoD). A memory dump would tell you that.
