I don't want to push $500 but if it's worth it, then I will gladly take it. 120hz isn't required but it is a nice addition. I would prefer it to be a Smart TV.

I'll be watching movies, sometimes gaming on it.

Any suggestions from these, or perhaps from another TV?

Have not looked at the links but some of those brands are usually IPS panels... For a TV I would not get IPS... VA screens have 2.5-5x the contrast ratio of IPS.
