Decent temps?

I just put my 930 together with a H50 and not sure if these temps are good or bad

From Everest:

CPU Type QuadCore Intel Core i7, 2933 MHz (22 x 133)
CPU Alias Bloomfield
CPU Stepping D0

Temperatures
Motherboard 31 °C (88 °F)
CPU 30 °C (86 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #1 37 °C (99 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #2 37 °C (99 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #3 38 °C (100 °F)
CPU #1 / Core #4 38 °C (100 °F)


Not overclocked, On stock. I used AC MX-2 TIM to re-apply

Don't worry about idle temps, they mean very little. Report back the temps when you've loaded the processor with something like Prime95 or OCCT.

I use Large FFT

Intelburntest creates a lot more heat if you really want to run it.

So far on OCCT at full load, Its around 58-60

That's not bad. Ideally, you want to keep the Core i7 chips under 80c. With these temps, it means you have room to overclock before you hit the heat limit.

Yeah those temps look fine. Are you blowing the air in or out of the case?

I'd personally recommend exhaust. Your CPU temps might go up 1-2 degrees, but all of that hot air coming off the rad won't be blowing all over your internals.

Well I was told by alot of ppl to use the P/P as intake, Same with corsair.

When I had this on my Q9650 in same orientation (intake), My temps were around 29 or so.

Yes this works great with your case. You've got cool air hitting the fins and the interior top fans as exhaust. If you wanted to help the internals you could create a little duct from the fins leading up to the first top exhaust fan

I re-applied mx-2 and made sure the H50 was seated good and these are the new temps:

Alot better than it was I think than these I had 1st:
