Decent security camera with streaming and no subscription needed?

Anyone have any recommendations on a decent security camera? We have a wrap around porch we let our cats out onto and just kind of want something to monitor them if I can't hear they need to come in (or they start climbing on stuff they shouldn't). Not looking to spend like $200 but would want at minimum some kind of streaming capability with audio. If it requires recording, I have a 12TB+ NAS I could hook it up to. Thanks!

I have Eufy and Wyze at my home, Blink at my campsite. All of them are pretty manageable without a subscription, but buying a cheap plan is the easiest for scanning events. Wyze will show the event caption, but you have to click to load into the SD card to watch it unless you have a cam plus subscription, which is like $3 per month per camera or something. For blink I use the home hub with a USB stick, but again it's easier to manage with the cheap yearly plan. Eufy isn't my favorite interface, but it hasn't given me any trouble, I think I pay for a $30 yearly plan there for easier event viewing, but I can't remember since I don't check that one too often. I wish the cameras I have (floodlights) had larger storage. The newish Wyze solar cams look pretty cool, I might add some of them onto some trees on my property.

If you already have 12TB of NAS sitting there, I’d skip the cloud-first stuff and grab a Reolink WiFi/PoE turret or bullet cam. They do RTSP/ONVIF straight to a NAS/NVR, night vision is decent, and the app is fine for quick “are the goblins behaving on the porch?” check-ins with audio.

If you want super plug-and-play and don’t care as much about local recording, a Wyze v4 with an SD card is also an easy button, just leans on their cloud more and the app can be a bit slower to scrub events.

I am a brand new member and I am having a terrible time trying to figure out how to make a post so I am on here because I see I can post something here. My question and the reason I started a profile here is this I have a sump pump in my crawlspace and I want to put a camera down there that I can access without having to have a subscription or buying an app and I am hoping someone here might have a suggestion on what camera to purchase. I am able to plug the camera into ac current and hook it up to wifi since it is directly below my computer room and my desk. Is anyone willing to throw some suggestions my way?
