I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with these deals from CyberPower, I hear that the quality of the parts are questionable, and that's what has gain their negative reputation but they have a pretty awesome deal. I have been on Mac for a while and would like to stay (but the steep price) and feeling like playing some games again such as BF1, Overwatch and so on. Does anyone have any comments or other alternatives to suggest?

Otherwise I was thinking on getting a new MBP 13" or 15" refurbished.

Thanks!

I was in the same dilemma as you are. The last couple of months I researched EVERY laptop out there. I would suggest you go to the notebookreview.com forum and start looking around. They have 'owner' sections that go in depth about everything you could want in a lappy.

I've got the CyberPower Vector 15 which looks to be roughly the same as the Tracer II from the outside; 6700HQ, GTX 1060 6gb, 256 SSD, 1TB HD, and 16gb. So far everything is fair to good quality wise except for the craptastic touch pad. Multi gesture is a joke on it right now. Handles games just fine and even powers my Vive quite well.

Thanks for the suggestions! I have decided to go for an MBP with an eGPU. There's a 20% loss on performance on external monitors, but it is not too bad. I ain't looking for the best of the best.
