decent 19inch lcd (viewsonic owners please take a look all welcomed!!!)

well my sony SDM-S81 has been doing odd things while gaming or watching stuff, mostly flickering and i was thinking of throwing it down a flight of steps and returning it under my compusa warrenty (expires19th) for a new montior since under their policy "flickering" isnt enough for a return.... so i was going threw their site and they pretty much have a crappy selection and the only ones that stick out are the viewsoinc VX910 19-inch which looks awesome with a 16ms responce time but dont know if its an overrated spec since no one really talks about the monitor (any owners please give ur 2 cents) and the sony HS93/B 19-inch just cause the frame looks "purrty". here's the site just incase u see a better one or recommendation. to bad they dont have the samsung 193P

kurdt94, I have not seen the VX910, only the VP191B, which does have more ghosting than my old 1760NX 16ms LCD(best I have used game wise), but seems 'fairly' acceptable in my opinion. I currently have a samsung 192T and it ghosts horribly. I suspect (but am not 100% certain) that the VX910 uses the same panel as the Sharp LL-191A-B. A review of that LCD is at http://www.anandtech.com/showdoc.html?i=2055 . I suspect the major advantages / disadvantages of that panel may apply to the viewsonic as well. I do trust that Viewsonic did as good a job as they could with it.

Its a pity you have to make the decision so quickly as new 19" 12ms LCD panels should hopefully available sometime soon. Good luck with your choice though.
