There is no doubt, in todays market the Asus screens offer the most for the least. I use the 25.5 Asus and love it. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Don't take my word for it, and someone please correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't the Samsung T260HD have pretty heavy input or panel lag and therefore not completely suitable for gaming?

Like i said OP, don't take my word for it, just make sure before you purchase.

I just noticed the 5ms response time on the Samsung, for some reason I thought it was lower..

Ugh, so many choices - so anyone have a good suggestion sub $400 but 24 inch +

FYI, manufacturer advertised response times are crap. I have the T240 and I hate it. Screen uniformity sucks and the viewing angles are horrible. Sitting dead center, eyes level with the center of the screen, images appear lighter and more detailed as they move from top to bottom. There's noticeable backlight bleed at the bottom as well. Basically, its your run of the mill TN panel. Everyone says you have to have a TN to play a FPS, but in a game like COD where visual acuity is important, this panel falls flat. I can be as fast Superman, but if I cant see a guy because he's at the top of my screen, then speed is for naught.

5ms would be good if it's a true 5ms, and not completely exaggerated.

Like i said, don't take my word for it and scratch it off your list just yet. Google for owner's opinions on it and make sure they describe their gaming experience, and don't just post something silly like "it's great for gaming! " because that isn't good enough imho.

Personally i love jumbo monitors, but if i were forced to go dual, those gateways seem hard to beat. That sale price is valid till jan 31st by the way.

Speaking of jumbo monitors, are you willing to risk possible high input lag on this 32" 1080P LCD ?

As i described in that thread, Costco has a very painless 90 day return policy, and offer a free two year in-house warranty on their televisions.

If the TV sucks for gaming, you just pack it up and return it within 90 days to get your money back. Would that be a hassle? Of course it would, but for some it may be worth it to find out.

Just another idea to confuse you with :p

I want to stick with 28 at the most, don't really have room for 32s lol

I noticed it seems like the biggest triple stand they make is for 24s - which are retarded expensive, I heard monoprice made them but can't seem to find that

INPUT LAG and PANEL RESPONSE TIME are different things.

Input Lag can be a real problem with some monitors, in some games, for some users.
