Debating between 120v and 12v pumps.

The 120s seem cheaper and I don't have to worry about needing a new powersupply,
while the 12v seems more convienient.

Being more expensive and drawing from my PS, is there any reason to get a 12v pump over a cheaper 120v pump and installing a relay?

Easier to handle, less wiring hassle and 120v going through inside your case.... usually better head, smaller size, quite a few things... big con of course is the price

Yeah, most 12V pumps out there (the good ones anyway) usually have a higher head than 120V pumps, which is what you want to look for in a pump for a watercooling loop. You also don't have to worry about splicing wires or anything for a relay (or purchasing a relay kit or making one yourself for that matter), as you can just plug it into a 4 pin connector on your PSU. So, by paying more for a 12V pump, you generally get better performance, and more convenience.
