Looks like there is some Razer plague going around. After 4 years my DA finally died to double click issue.

Was wondering what kind of suggestions you guys may have for replacing it. I was pretty happy with DA, I like the shape/weight.

Looking at new DA 2013, Roccat Kone Pure Optical is popular nowerdays, SS Kana maybe...

The DA 2013 might be worth checking out. I like it better than the DA 3.5. The sensor is much better and I prefer the new grip to the smooth one. So better grip, better sensor but same perfect shape.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I was very curious about Roccat, and after reading up some more ended up getting that one to try out.

So far I like the build quality, tracking, buttons.
Don't like blinking logo, no mac driver.

Even though its not far off in size from say intellimouse, It feels much smaller. Will need some time to get used to the shape. My pinky feels redundant :) I'll give it few weeks and if its still the case probably go with new DA. Otherwise very good mouse.

Do yourself a favor and try a wider mouse. Bigger especially Wider will make it more comfortable. Grab a pencil with only your pinky and thumb and try to hold it in air for 1 minute, and you will understand why.

With every mouse I've ever used, it's my ring finger that's wrapped around the far side of the mouse. My pinky usually just rests on the mousepad off to the side of the mouse. It keeps me aware of the edge of the mousepad and provides tactile feedback when I lift the mouse to reposition it. How do you know when you're nearing the edge of your mousepad if it's wrapped around the mouse all the time?

Try the Steelseries Sensei.
I went from the original Deathadder to a G500 which was horrible to the Sensei which is everything I wanted.
Good looks, superb tracking on many more surfaces, great features. It even has an LCD on the bottom and a CPU inside it to enhance precision!
