i been wondering about this for a while now.

has anyone had a dell brand monitor have a dead pixel on it?
I have had samsung and acer monitors that have had them. But i have work with or seen over 1500 dell monitor and have never and i mean ever seen a dead pixel on any of them.

Is this just me. also are these dell made or are they rebrand of a certain company.

i have a dell with one dead pixel. in college, most of my classes use dell monitors, and i never seen a dead pixel on them..

I have one on my second U2410, the replacement is on the way. Can't stand dead pixel.
My old 2405 has like 2 or 3.

I have a dell laptop and I have no dead pixels. I also just got my screen replaced via warranty...

As far as I know dell makes them (maybe not?) but the dell monitors are the best in my opinion because of the support behind. I bought a 2407hc and it had some dead pixels (1 or 2) and they overnighted me a new monitor. That doesn't happen anywhere else that I know of).

Found a dead pixel on one of my U2410. I'm on the phone with tech support right now and the guy is giving me the run around saying one dead pixel is ok for the monitor.

Edit: he's "trying" to setup a replacement. I dont get it, if I sold a new car with a check engine light that didnt light up, i'd have to fix it.
