On my Dell 2405 I have 3-5 dead pixels (always black) that are all in one spot and I can even see them when the LCD is in the test mode with the red, greed, blue and white square floating around while the rest of the screen is just showing the backlight. I do need the room to be dark when I observe this. I was thinking that there might be some sort of dust particle stuck from underside that is causing this or are these actual dead pixels that are preventing the backlight to show through?
