I ran across this on shacknews this morning. Its apparently for psps with dead pixels. If you read below the article a guy did get success with unsticking pixels on a 19' TFT. They are saying to run it for 4 hours or so. I'm going to give it a shot on my 19 that has one 1 stuck pixel, i'll report back in some time and let you guys know. Article and file can be found here. Let me know if any of you guys try it, or if it works ;)

After about 10 hours of runtime, I had no success. The pixel is still stuck on red. Hope this works out for somebody else ;)

Tried it a few days ago...and no dice on my two stuck pixels...but I'm sending this puppy back tomorrow anyhow... ;)

If it doesn't work after a day or so, with the video running, try to gently rub/massage in a counter-clockwise motion the stuck/dead pixel and see if they're alive again. ;)

its nothing new really to TFT displays. if you have lazy subpixels (and not fully dead) then they can sometimes come back to life with some gentle massaging and some fast paced gaming. This program is just one you can leave running, but i imagine playing some games is more fun :) If the pixels are fully dead (white / black) then they wont come back to life i dont think

ive heard a few ppl who have brought lazy subpixles back to life tho with the above methods of massaging and gaming, so there is some hope! :D

Well i've tried massaging it to no avail, guess i'll have to load up something an frag like hell ;)

I tried it on my PSP the other day and it didn't work. I still got those 2 dead pixels.

Tried massaging the pixel, to no avail. Haven't tried the fraggin as of yet tho.

Will this file play on a pc? what codec do i need?
I'm having the same problem. I sound like a noob now but anyways...

Both DiVX, WMP10, WMP Classic, all will not play this file! I even downloaded some codec packages and the .mp4 file still won't play. Someone help me, I want to try this fix for my BenQ 19" LCD.

EDIT: Nevermind, iTunes plays it. Should've known I should try a good piece of Apple based software...

I ran this over night, and unfortunately it didn't repair my single dead pixel (well, it's only really 2/3 dead. It does red and magenta fine).

Hope someone has some luck with this!
