Dead monitor?

I have a Hanns-G 22" LCD monitor, and the display went black but the power LED is still on. If I turn the power switch off and then on again, it will display normally for 2 seconds and go black again. I have tried changing cables. Is it just dead or am I missing something to try?

If it is a LCD and not a LED it's probably the inverter.
