today i decided to clean my keyborad. i took out all the keys and washed them and washed the inside with a very wet peice of paper towel... i put back everything and now this peice of shit doesnt work.

i let it dry for atleast hour because i taught the water went inside the borad or something. and now this shit still doesnt work.. i plugged it in usb and ps2
still no luck
wtf isss wrong?????
i love this keyboard!

You can let it dry for a little longer and try again, but your keyboard is probably toast. I don't know what you did to it, but I would suspect that you didn't allow enough drying time initially. Unfortunately, keyboards are not very repairable.

when i plug it on usb... on another computer
it says new usb device found....human interface device, then it says logitech usb keyboard...
but it still wont work. the num lock lights or caps lights wont come on. when i type something notting comes up....WTF???

You probably shorted it out man...
I would wait for another day or two and use your spare KB for now...
after a decent amount of time try it again....
I have tried to clean out my keyboard before and was lucky but i let it dry overnight...

good luck

Man... Check the little plastic contact sheets.

I took appart my Logitech Internet Navigator to clean out some juice that someome spilled in it. I put it back together and it wouldn't work. I took it appart and looked more closely and I didn't put the plastic sheets in quite right. Look carefully, the plastic sheet with the holes should be sandwitched between the sheets that have contacts, and all the contacts should line up.

I guess there is a chance your board is dead but it sounds far more likely to be that. Also try reseating all of the ribbon cables.

oh shit
i pluged it in and the scroll button on the left works when i play with it
what are ribbon cables?

Hmm this problem is hard to diagnose. Did you do anything special or different that may have caused physical damage to the board?

omfg....
when i plug it in usb, every 5 sec, i keep on hearing that windows device pluged in and device pluged out sound...wtf?

can anyone tell me good keyboard that is very low on price and it HAS TO HAVE volume controls....
