I've got a DFI Lanparty NFII Ultra rev. B

I had a floppy drive in it when I first put the system together and its been a while now. I been trying to be without a floppy and tried to make an unattended windows setup disk which isn't going to well.

ANyway, I found 2 working floppy drives, plug them into mine and windows will keep saying insert floppy disk. I used both drives and 2 different floppy cables and same msg. Could my floppy port on the motherboard be toasted?
 
make sure the cable is plugged in the right way, i have done that before and it won't work
 
Yeah, something like that happened to me and it did turn out that my cable was just in the wrong way. I flipped it over and the floppy worked fine. But not before I ruined like 5 disks. :rolleyes:
 
the side where the little cut part on the wires is goes to the drive.....
 
I've tried the floppy both ways because I've done that mistake before, nothing works. :confused:

would windows setup recognize a USB floppy drive so I can install the SATA/RAID controller?
 
i had the same problem. though i did ntohing with the BIOS(that i can remember) i went there and checked, and floppy drive was disabled, so check that
 
o i made sure everything was back to default and that the floppy is enabled
