So here i am, i just re-wired my system ..moved a couple of fans around. minding my own business when i tested my sound connection....my sound card is rigged to an external stereo amplifier through a y-adapter..anyways my amp works fine one minute and about a minute after the test (when no audio was being piped into it )... i heard i click from the inside of the amp and the power light slowly fickered very dimly and cut out and now i cant turn it back on .....im thinking it's a fuse but the amp is very old, maybe 20 years..it a poineer a-717 117watt i believe ..............does anyone know what the problem might be?
 
Beind as it's 20 years old it could be any number of things.
Pick up the phone and see what your local electronics repair dude has to say about it. ;)




(if it make the journey to the rubish can save the knobs for me :D)
