Just looking for a few opinions. My EVGA Geforce 6800gt seems to be acting up. Its new and whenever I try to Play Far Cry at 1600 x 1200 the game just drops me back to the desktop. Trying to play HL2 results in a reset. It does run 3dmark 05 just fine though and scores are on par with other systems in my range. I am using a name brand 550w psu so I dont think its power. When I first got the card I decieded to overclock it and I used nvtunes auto oc feature. I was watching the system monitor while it was overclocking and I noticed that rather than the GPU clock climbing the PCIE clock was climbing, the system froze before I realized what was going on and I rebooted. Could this of damaged my card?

2x512mb PC3700 PQI Turbo Sticks
Evga 6800gt (other one is on its way)
Athena Power 500w psu
 
Man, i have that exact same setup u have runnig on a bfg 6800gt and i cant get it 2 work, i get system lockups all the time, i think its the card or somethn
i got the same mobo as u do also.

It told me a message while opening nTune, regarding how the HT was going up and down , but it crashed and i uninstalled this application..
if you find out anything out replay or message me plz!.
