If it's gonna cost me and arm and a leg for just the 8 core Haswell-E, how much will it be for the DDR4 Sammy Wonderam that hits 3000+ @ 9 9 9 24? ;)

But seriously, I wonder how much later does consumer grade ram roll out in full force after server stuff is out and about.
 
I don't think it's the timings you need to worry about Junkboy, but the money, haha.
Will be very interesting to see some realworld benchmarks with DDR4 Ram and the new 8 core intel chips.
 
a highly clockable 8 core intel chip is what i'm after, ddr4 should be nice too
 
i'm a bit miffed at the server timings, DBs need, tight timing, not increasingly larger ones.
