DDR333 or DDR400 Memory?

Well I currently have $150 USD in hand and I want to find at ebay 1GB DDR400 (PC3200) Memory at around 150 in a buy it now price but I can't find anything. Should I do 1GB DDR333 (PC2700), get 512MB DDR400 (PC3200) or just keep trying to bid for a 1GB DDR400 (PC3200)?
 
You don't need anything higher than DDR333 unless your going for a massive overclock. I also wouldn't ever buy memory off of Ebay. Get it retail so if it dies or is DOA, you can easily return it.
 
Well, I live in Mexico, so eBay is the only place I can get them and at a good price. Also, I will do an overclock of AMD Athlon XP 2200+ to a AMD Athlon XP 2800+. So, should I get a Kingston 512MB DDR400 (PC3200) or 1GB DDR333 (PC2700)?
 
i'd get the 1 gig pc3200 to leave room for an upgrade down the road, maybe you'll need the the extra speed if u upgrade cpu
 
I agree with the DDR400. If you have a budget of $150, I say might as well go for the DDR400. The price difference is not much between the 2 sets of Ram but the bottleneck is huge if you are planning to OC.

A gig of pc2700 will be more than you'll ever need. If you're getting a 2200+, you will have no use for DDR400 unless it is an AWESOME chip. You'll love the gig of ram.

Pc2700 will be fine.
