I am trying to buy 16gb DDR3 RAM as my backup pc needs replacement.
Checked on ebay and most of them were $120 which was expensive than what I paid in 2014.

Is there anywhere I could get them for cheaper price?
 
You can check the For Sale / Trade forum here or, better yet, /r/hardwareswap on Reddit. You can find 16gb for $60-80 fairly common.

I am still kicking myself in the ass for not buying this kit at the time, October 2016.
I didn't need it then, but I did a few months later.

Amazon Prime Now price errors in October of 2016. on that day GTX980ti's were selling for $130-240. Quite a few members here were able to get them if they were available in their area.
There were no 980ti's in my area so I just browsed the site and came across various PC parts that were really cheap, and ordered them. There was only 1 of each, otherwise I would have ordered as many as I could, flip the video cards and keep the cheap hard drives.
