little confused which direction the water flows? pump came without a manual. plz help

Yeh they are a little confusing, but using this picture ( http://www.dangerden.com/store/image.php?id=520&type=D ) the very top is the outlet (the direction it pumps in) and the front is where the water enters hope this helps you, got any more Q's on it PM me.
