I am running a uhub-based DC++ hub on my local network. I connect to it with a client on the same network. As a result, the hub publishes my LAN IP, and not my WAN IP. As a result, WAN clients can't connect, despite port forwards being properly configured.
I have configured my WAN IP in Settings->Connectivity->Manual Configuration and have checked the "Don't allow hubs to override" box. Despite this, my LAN is still the address the hub uses. I even tried enabling NAT reflection on my router, but that merely changes my address to the router's LAN address, which is even less helpful
My only real solution right now is to be passive, which is less than ideal.
There seems to be remarkably little information on this online. Is this an issue with uhub (I am using the version from the author's git repository, since the Ubuntu packages don't seem to have working ADCS support)?? I didn't see anything in the bug lists...
Thanks!
