Please only post your Horde graphic once per thread.

I'm confused...... how can we make this work?

Are we going to be allowed img/links in the sigs now?

If so, Thanks Kyle!

If not, color me confused. I hope Kyle hasn't gotten too many complaints about his treatment of the Horde.

Sorry forgot it was turned off due to abuse. Just insert once per thread please, no every single time you post.

No problem. It's one of the reasons I avoided the new larger sig's which seem to consume more bandwidth and take longer to load.

The new badges are actually the smallest we have ever had, under 1k.

But that's not important now.;)

It's not like an oppressive new rule or anything, once per thread, easy stuff:)

I personally find the new graphics more invasive in threads and think they break our format to some degree.

I agree will Bill.
If you would like us to use smaller badges, just let King know.
Your the BOSS.

Swops back to old badge.

Luck ...... :D

I like the look of the new badges a lot, but can see what you are saying.

I will be switching back myself.

Edit:

Kyle, if you are still checking this thread, I would like to propose a suggestion. I don't know if this would be more work than you would like, or maybe more bitching from other board members than you might like, but what if after a certain number of points (say 1 million because I just got there ;)) you could put those folders in a member group that has the rights to post HTML in their sigs. It's just a suggestion, and would make it so we would have more than one per thread if we posted several times, but if it is the older smaller one that might be ok right?

Just a suggestion.

Last night King changed the coding of the badges to what you now see. One issue I still see is anytime we post a badger that badge updates in an ongoing cycle.

I don't have the stats but when you think about it everytime somebody opens a thread with badges there it a call to the server to update what has already been posted. Only Kyle has those numbers so again, it will be his call;)

It won't work. I'm one of those who almost always put the tag with each and every post and I'm feeling guilty to crashing the forum :( Remember that www.hardfolding.com is linked to the hardforum and hardocp servers).

No problem putting a single tag per thread.

Old sigs are still cool, right? I resist change so I'm still old school :p

Oops  I'm sorry if I scewed up. Does this mean if you post several times to the same thread you should just use your badges one time

Folding and WCGing for the CURE

Correct.

Post your badge just once per thread.

No problem here. Might help me sneak past some before they know I'm closing. :p

I wonder if this issue has been resolved yet .. or what was causing it in the first place?

Is it the new code vs the old code?
Is it the new [H]ardForum and [H]ardOCP servers?

Just curious what changed from the old sigs to the new to hurt the servers.

I don't like to ever get Kyle upset around here....

I don't think anyone had to change links King told me the code was updated the day after.

Yup, that's wiff the old link:)

How do you insert this tag? I had one back in the day, when you could permanently attach it to your sig.

go to your account

http://www.hardfolding.com/fh_stats/index.php?pz=102&tnum=33&id=8510

then go down to the bottom where it shows the forum badge..

then click the color text you want.. then on the next page scroll down to either forum bad 3a or 3b.. then you will see a java script code.. you need to make a bookmark.. (firefox) go in and edit the url so that the url is now that java script line.. so every time you go to make that post.. click the bookmark it will add the badge and submit the message.. if your using IE.. im sure its pretty close to the same thing.. but i havent touched IE in almost 4 years..

The "badge" is not allowed to be a part of your signature.

Sorry for the double post, i just wanted to try this and to thank sirmonkey for explaining things.
