Data storage for cd playa. ..?

I was wondering if there is even such a thing as a cd player that reads DVD's i know i should just get an Ipod if i want to listen to mp3's but i was curious if there is a PORTABLE cd player that can read both mp3's burnt on DVD's :) any help would be nice thx
