Data recovery under windows vista

I had a huge problem during my vista install.... vista installed on the wrong drive (my fault) ....so i need now to recover some of my data.....what would be a good software package for that?

question also, once you recover lost harddrive data, will you get it back with its orginal file naming? or some generic filename the software assigns.....

the problem with this is that i'm not seeing any familiar names with the restored data

what am i doing wrong?
