So i was trying to merge 2 partitions with partition magic. So i go to look at the partiton when it completed, and for some reason it deleted both partitions i was trying to merge. This quickly made me mad. I calmed down and messed around with partition magic and was able to recover one of the two partitions (yay my 80gigs of movies are back). Still i am missing one partition i would like to have back. Any help regarding any data recovery tools is greatly appreciated.

Disk Patch would be at the top of my list

for future reference its been my experience that its better to do one task in Partition Magic at a time (resize reboot move reboot ect)

i've tried easy recovery profesional from ontrack, but it's very expensive.
Ice Czar is the man, and probably know's more about data recovery than I.

Disk Patch is for repair operations not recovery
(since you asked for "i am missing one partition i would like to have back")

for a good recovery ap I use File Scavenger
seems to recover more than other options
