What I'm looking for is a bootable disk CD where I can select a hard disk to wipe from a list and have it wipe the drive clean...very clean. I had thought there were a couple of live-CD Linux distros that could do this, but I cant seem to find them. Any help? Thanks.

When in doubt, this works too for data destruction

Cool. Thanks for all the replies. The Ultimate Boot CD will have to do since they don't have a floppy drive.
