Data Broker Giants Hacked by ID Thieves

    I think it is safe to say that these companies got caught with their pants down. The authoties are involved but it is still too early to tell if any sensitive information was accessed on these hacked servers.

    Working for one of these companies, security is a f'in joke to put it mildly. I've ranted to management about how inadequate it is, but it wasn't "cost effective" to correct it.:rolleyes:

    I wonder if it is now?

    Sadly I think the majority of companies think this way.

    The company I work for is much better then that, but still it often takes a breach to get things where they should be. A sad fact of corporate life :(
